How it works
Over the past few years, the UAE Office for AI, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications has successfully launched various initiatives to attract digital talent and innovative businesses to the country. The government has pledged to double the size of its digital economy contribution to non-oil GDP by 2031 through a host of diverse policy initiatives, one of which is attracting top digital talent and workers remotely in the United Arab Emirates.
Strategic partnership with UAE Office for AI, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications aims to enable Deel’s integrated platform, support and customer base for employees working remotely relocating to the United Arab Emirates. Deel currently has over 8,000 customers, including Coinbase and Shopify. It has raised over $700 million, cementing its position as the most valuable company in the global hiring, payments and compliance space.
Both visa categories Deel customers will have faster access to include Golden and Green visas. UAE Golden Visa is a long-term residency granted to highly skilled workers and professionals. It consists of a 10-year self-sponsored residency with automatic renewal, no maximum number of support service workers, residency for family members including spouse and children, and no residency visa cancellations for any length of stay outside the UAE. The United Arab Emirates Green Visa consists of various flexible arrangements, one of which is a 1-year self-sponsored remote work residency or a 5-year self-sponsored Free-Lancer residency for self-employed.
In addition to offering Golden Visa and Green Visa for Deel customers, Deel has built a network of partnerships to facilitate flights and accommodation. The company also provides its clients with health insurance and 24/7 live phone support to help them get around and settle in quickly. This means that hiring in the United Arab Emirates has become faster, easier and much more attractive for Deel clients wishing to relocate.
