Effort to deliver government services at home, implementing a paperwork solution; Reached Mangshila

The commendable effort to deliver government services to homes and simplify paperwork solution has reached Mangshila of North Sikkim this week.

In line with the concerned effort, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of North Sikkim – AB Karki along with other enforcement department officials visit remote areas of the district every Friday of the week and interact with local people to hear their grievances.

This team started the visit of Sirijunga Yuma Saam Mang Heem in Mangshila, where the team was received by Gram Panchayats.

Meanwhile, an inspection of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) section in Tinzay and the nearby landslide site was also followed.

ICDS Upper Mangshilla Center and Government Primary School Upper Mangshilla were visited, reporting and inspections were also carried out by the team.

This team will also visit the Bulk Milk Cooling Center and Chilli Plantation Site at Upper Tingzey.

Thereafter, the team marched to Pathibhara Mandir Upper Jhusing, the mandir in charge and the committees met the team and attended to their immediate needs.

A brief stop was also made at ICDS Center Lower Mangshilla and Shiva Mandir Lower Mangshilla.

This team then visited a viewpoint in Mangshilla and discussed improving the spot which can generate revenue for the GPU.

Thereafter, the team made short stops at the veterinary dispensary in Mangshilla, Pry government. Lower Mangshilla Jhusing School, ICDS Center Jhusing, Government Junior High School Tibuk, ICDS Center Tibuk.

Addressing the public and the panchayats, DC Mangan assured that the district administration will always be theirs to work for the general public.

At the end of the brief interaction, he hoped to meet the locals on GPU development initiatives in the future.

The field visit with inspection was led by the Mangan district collector, Dr. AB Karki.

He was accompanied by BDO Mangan, officers from the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA), Departments of Education, SPWD, Forestry, Power, Roads and Bridges , Tourism, PMGSY, Horticulture, Irrigation AH&VS, RDD, Social Justice and Wellbeing, LRDMD. , DCSO and ICDS supervisors.
