If you’re wondering where America’s heroes rank on President Joe Biden’s priority list, try under the rainbow flag.
While federal agencies have tripped over themselves to pledge allegiance to LGBT activism, two have failed to acknowledge the fallen troops who make our freedom possible. Despite a government-wide tweet fest during Pride Month, departments of Justice and Treasury managed to completely ignore Memorial Day.
Thanks to social media, Americans are getting a close look at the main obsession of this administration, which has devoted more than 30 posts to LGBT extremism from its official accounts, but could not spare half of that attention to men and women who gave their all. .
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who was probably too busy promoting abortion as a solution to our collapsing economy, scored neither occasion. US Attorney General Merrick Garland’s team, on the other hand, showed complete disregard for our military by celebrating pride but overlooking the ultimate American sacrifice.
The Family Research Council’s executive vice president, retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, could only shake his head at the administration’s tunnel vision:
It is amazing that a government agency refuses to recognize and honor the military men and women who have died fighting for this country. We see this administration set aside an entire month to recognize and celebrate with the LGBT community, while at the same time we have large numbers of homeless veterans and others with severe disabilities and PTSD. When are we going to set aside a designated period to help them?
Elsewhere, taxpayer-funded festivities continue. And not just until June. With gas prices soaring, US energy officials want Americans to know they’re working hard to pump up diversity. “Pride. This month. Next month. Always,” the office posted on social media. A stream of angry responses followed.
“So comforting to know that you invested your time and effort in this nonsense when the Secretary of Energy doesn’t even know how much oil the United States consumes daily and Americans pay the highest prices for fuel,” said a frustrated American. return. “Now if only we could celebrate one of you who does your job well,” said another.
At the Department of Health and Human Services, where Secretary Xavier Becerra is on a personal crusade to fund children’s transition surgeries with taxpayer dollars, the agency released a Pride news item, devoting 1,600 words to the cause and offering 15 separate statements from HHS leaders (including Rachel Levine).
Not to be outdone, education officials decided to change their government seal to the “progress pride” flag, paying special tribute to transgender people, while the Marines, Aviationand space force featured everything from rainbow balls to astronauts “queering” the moon.
During this time, at the United States Department of Agriculturethe occasion even eclipsed National Milk Month, as round-the-clock banners, logos and tweets spewed politically correct sexualism.
And although the USDA has fought well with its rainbow color product backdrop, the prize for LGBT pimping must go to the US State Department, which, in addition to posting more pride tweets than anyone in government in a 24-hour period, has also managed to enrage the global religious community with his blow to the Holy See. The divisive US Embassy site, steps from the Vatican, waving the LGBT flag looked like Biden’s final middle finger to believers.
Like so many others, Connor Semelsberger of the Family Research Council, director of federal affairs, is horrified by the display and its undercurrent of hostility toward religion as a whole:
The teachings of the Catholic Church on the beauty of natural marriage and human sexuality have been known for millennia. This decision by the US Embassy to fly a “flag of pride” in the Holy See reveals that the radical LGBT agenda is a pseudo-religion that seeks to replace the moral and social teachings of the faith tradition catholic and to enforce its rule on all major establishments around the world.
After posting on Twitter showcasing the flag high in history, the United States has been castigated for its hypocrisy. ‘The Biden administration would never do this in an Islamic country’, Ben Shapiro argued. “It’s anti-Catholic bigotry.” And ironically, it comes from the hands of a self-proclaimed Catholic, Biden.
Mary Szoch, director of the Center for Human Dignity’s Family Research Council, insists this is just one of many betrayals of her faith:
The decision by the United States Embassy to the Holy See to fly a rainbow flag is consistent with President Biden’s clear disrespect for Catholic education. … Since taking office, President Biden, who calls himself a devout Catholic, has openly supported policies that actively strike at the heart of the family. He pledged allegiance to the wrong flag.
Imagine being a Gold Star family — perhaps one of 13 who lost loved ones to Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan pullout — watching this government-wide merriment unfold.
Your son or your daughter, your husband or your wife, your mother or your father is gone, and the only thing that matters to this White House is to give the full measure of its devotion to a vulgar fringe who don’t care about the truth, intimidates the faith and divides the nation. They are the few, the inexplicably proud.
