Slovenian companies consider new investment opportunities in Azerbaijan – minister

Slovenian companies expect new projects to be launched by the Azerbaijani government and new investment opportunities to arise, said Matjaž Han, Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology, in an exclusive interview with Trend. November 19.

“We are pleased that a number of new investment incentives have been launched by the government. As areas of prospect for increasing bilateral economic cooperation in trade and investment, we see: green technologies and recycling renewable energy sources; telecommunications and ICT; e-government; construction and engineering; chemical and pharmaceutical industry; logistics and transport; automotive industry; tourism,” the minister said.

Matjaž Han went on to add that business in Slovenia is booming, which has led to strong economic growth in recent years.

“Every company and investor, who has a clear vision of business in Slovenia, a lasting attitude and responsibility is more than welcome in Slovenia. We offer a stimulating and stable business environment. The Slovenian government is committed to improving it further more with proactive reforms and is constantly taking steps to create a competitive, transparent, simple and investor-friendly environment.Our central geostrategic position in the heart of Europe with direct access to the Adriatic Sea and modern infrastructure are important factors of our competitiveness.
